US President Barack Obama has backed a older community, consideration reports that he exchanged "come-hither" emails with Florida socialite Jill Kelley.
Spokesman Jay Carney said Mr Obama had "assurance" in Gen John Allen, chosen to be the next Nato commander in Europe.
